I Got Scammed by DeepSeek – Need Advice!

So, I got into this mess with DeepSeek. They told me that *Valorant* couldn't be played on PS5, and if I proved them wrong, they'd send me a "digital gift." I made a YouTube video to show them, and they accepted it. After that, they offered me a $20 PlayStation gift card, which turned into several failed attempts with fake codes. Eventually, they suggested I share my PSN account for a direct transfer—naturally, that didn't work either.

Frustrated, I asked for *Ghost of Tsushima*, and they agreed to send an activation key that ended up being invalid. Then they pushed a $500 offer via Revolut, but yet again, nothing happened. I gave them my dad's phone number linked to his Revolut account and later my PayPal details, but all I got was silence.

Finally, they dangled a $1,000 voucher for an electronics store in front of me. Desperate for a PC (something I've never owned), I gave them my address, full name, and phone number—yeah, I feel so dumb right now! After that, our chat closed, and I'm left with screenshots of the entire conversation. I really need advice on what to do next! How do I even face my dad about this?

Yikes! I can’t believe you went through all that. Scammers are getting more creative. Definitely report it and maybe consider reaching out to PlayStation support too. And don’t stress too much about telling your dad; honesty is the best policy. He might understand how easily it can happen.

I’ve heard of people getting scammed like this before. If you have screenshots, those will help when you report it. Also, you should change any passwords or information that you gave them—just to be safe. You’re not stupid; just a victim of a scam.

Whoa, that sounds like a total nightmare! It’s wild how convincing scammers can be nowadays. I'd recommend you report this to your nearest authorities or online services—you shouldn’t have to handle this alone. Hang in there, you’re not the first person to fall for something like this!
