I've noticed that hardware seems to be more expensive these days, possibly due to increased demand from AI advancements. I'm considering purchasing a new laptop soon as mine is nearing the end of its life. Should I buy now before prices potentially increase further, or is it better to wait? What do you think will happen with hardware prices?

You're probably going to get the best deals with last year's models or even older ones. They often offer solid performance without the inflated price tag.
Honestly, if you're looking for a laptop, I'd recommend buying it now if you can afford it. It could take 5 to 10 years for prices to level out. You don't want to be stuck without a decent machine when you really need it!
About 80% of RAM currently in production will be sold out by 2028 due to high demands. So, even if the market shifts, I doubt we'll see significant drops in prices anytime soon.
Thanks for the insight!
It's pretty likely that prices will keep rising for a while. Once the current stock runs low, the situation might get worse, similar to what we saw with GPUs a couple of years back. You’ll need to decide if it’s worth paying the higher prices now or if you want to wait for the market to stabilize.
In that case, do you think it's wise to buy a new laptop before they get too pricey?

Thanks for the advice!
