I built my first PC back in early 2019, and I've been thinking about upgrading recently. I currently have a 2060 Super paired with a Ryzen 7 2700x, 16GB of 3200MHz RAM, and an 850W PSU that I got last year to future-proof my setup. I enjoy playing a variety of games, especially FPS titles, and I've been getting decent frame rates at 1440p. I really wanted to upgrade to a 5070 Ti, but I've heard that my CPU might bottleneck the performance of the new graphics card. Is now a good time to buy new components, or should I wait for RAM prices to drop?

Upgrading to a 5070 Ti would definitely boost your performance, but it's true that your 2700x might hold it back a bit. Nonetheless, the investment would still be worthwhile since you can carry the new GPU over to future upgrades. Just keep that in mind!
