I recently had some trouble with my phone due to water damage, which left it unusable for several months. Thankfully, it turned back on and I was able to back up its data after all. Now I'm wondering, if I get a new phone and both of my old phones are backed up properly, will I be able to access all the data from both of them on the new phone? Does that make sense? You can't restore both backups to a new phone or merge them, unfortunately. However, if both old phones are signed into iCloud and iCloud Photos is enabled, any photos you see on one should be identical on the other. When you sign into iCloud on your new phone, you should be able to access everything as long as you have enough storage.
Thanks for the clarification! I have iCloud Photos on both phones and enough storage. I still only see the photos on the old phone, so maybe they just need some time to sync? Also, will it be an issue if I back up both old phones before getting the new one?
