Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build a new PC since my old setup is getting pretty outdated. I've spent the last few days researching parts and checking compatibility, but I still have some uncertainties. You can check out my current build [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RCx8C8). The only component I've already purchased is the 5090 TUF OC, so I'm locked into that. As for the CPU, I'm torn between the 9950x3d and the 9800x3d. I know the 9950x3d offers more cores for future productivity, but it feels like a gamble since this build is meant to last 5-7 years. Plus, I'm unsure about the case; I initially considered the Y70 Hyte Touch, but after seeing some reviews, I'm open to suggestions. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If you decide to go with the 9950x3d, keep in mind that in a few years, upgrading to a faster CPU could lead to significant cost savings. The market tends to shift, and you might find better options for less cash when you're ready. Just a thought!
I'd recommend considering a different motherboard. Lately, there have been reports of people having issues with Asrock mobos that can lead to bricking x3d CPUs. Check the discussions on that in some tech forums—it seems to be a common concern right now.
