I recently upgraded my motherboard, RAM, and CPU to an AM5 platform, while keeping my CPU cooler, which is the Noctua D15—known to be one of the best air coolers out there. I'm curious about the average CPU temperatures people are seeing with this cooler and the 7800X3D CPU. In my experience with gaming at 4K resolution, I'm generally seeing temperatures around 60°C to 65°C, with a peak of 67°C to 68°C while playing Valheim. I haven't observed it going above 70°C in any game. Since this is my first PC build, I'd love to know if my temperatures are considered good, bad, or average compared to others with the same setup. Thanks for your input!

Don't worry too much about what others are getting; many factors influence CPU temperatures. Yours are very good, and I wouldn't be concerned at all.
Those temps are great! You're in a solid range, especially at 4K resolution. Just make sure you keep an eye on it, but everything sounds good!
Thank you! When I bought the cooler, I was on the AM4 platform. My friend helped with the build, and I was a bit confused about how it fit on AM5.
The 7800X3D does have a thermal bottleneck between the CPU core and the heatspreader, so the temps might be higher than expected. But as long as you stay under 89°C, you're perfectly fine—88°C and below like you are is great!
Thank you for the clarification!

Thanks for the reassurance! I just want to ensure everything runs smoothly.
