Choosing the Right Graphics Card in 2026: Need Help!

It's 2026, and I've been trying to build a solid computer for a while, but the rising prices from AI demand have thrown a wrench in my plans. I've got a Processor 7 9800x3D and some RAM (though it's pricier than normal DDR5 6800 from Viper). Initially, I was set on the 5070ti graphics card, but now prices are out of control and I'm unsure what to do. Some suggest the 4080 Super, while others favor the AMD 9070 XT. I want a high-performance gaming experience, planning to play at ultra settings with ray tracing. Any advice from those who understand the current market would be greatly appreciated!

What resolution are you aiming for? And how much are you looking to spend? Knowing your budget and the games you want to play can help narrow it down.

You might want to consider what country you're in and how much you can realistically spend on a GPU. The 9070 XT is a solid option, especially for 1440p gaming without paying Nvidia’s high prices. I’d be cautious about the 4000 series right now; they're overpriced and becoming harder to find.

The 4080 Super gives around 5-10% more FPS compared to the 5070ti but tends to be about 20% pricier. The 9070 XT and 5070ti are pretty evenly matched, and the best choice really depends on what games you're into. If the 9070 XT is $150-200 cheaper than the 5070ti, I'd say it’s a more appealing option for your setup.
