Help with AIO Pump Not Functioning on New PC Build

I recently built my first PC, but I'm facing an issue with my AIO pump. Everything else seems to be functioning, but my computer keeps shutting down in the BIOS due to high temperatures. Initially, I connected the pump to a fan hub since there's only one fan header on my motherboard, but I switched it to the CPU_FAN port, and there's still no change. The BIOS displays the CPU fan speed as 0 RPM. I was troubleshooting with support, and they suggested my AIO unit might be defective. I'm using the Thermalright Aqua Elite 360 V3 AIO with a Gigabyte B550M motherboard. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Check if your motherboard has a dedicated AIO port, as that can often report fan speeds differently compared to standard CPU headers. Sometimes, these ports are designed to max out RPMs by default, so it might not show the speed accurately. If you confirm you're in the right port but still overheating, there's a quirky fix you might want to try—turn your whole PC upside down and then set it back upright. I know it sounds weird, but it can help dislodge any trapped air bubbles in the cooler that might be hindering performance.

Just to add on, make sure that your pump and fan are indeed connected to the right ports. It can be easy to mix them up, and knowing that your CPU_FAN shows 0 RPM does point to a connection issue. If you only see CPU_FAN and SYS_FAN on your motherboard, plugging the pump into CPU_FAN is correct, but double-check the connection and cable integrity. Sometimes reseating the connectors helps!
