How Does the Shutdown Sequence Work on Eaton UPS During Power Outages?

I have a question about the shutdown sequence for my Eaton UPS during power outages. I've set it to start shutting down when the battery level drops below 50%. Does this mean that when my server is running on battery power and reaches about 50% battery, the shutdown sequence will kick in to allow for a graceful shutdown before the battery completely dies?

Yes, that's correct! When the battery level hits 50%, it triggers the shutdown procedures to help your server shut down gracefully before the power runs out. Just keep in mind that the process needs some time, so it's good to monitor your system if you have critical operations running.

I actually tested mine, and the shutdown sequence started right when the power was lost, even though my UPS was fully charged at 100%. The Eaton engineer checked my battery and confirmed it was fine. Is this normal?
