Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a monitor for my PC and could use some advice. I've got a 4060 Ti with 16 GB of RAM and an i5-12600KF, which should handle a 1440p display pretty well according to benchmarks. I can also drop the resolution if I need to.
I'm considering this monitor which is priced at £150, has a 180 Hz refresh rate, 1440p resolution, and supports adaptive sync so G-Sync should work even though it's not fully G-Sync certified. It boasts a refresh rate of 0.5ms and includes features like good color and quantum dot technology, which seem impressive for this price.
Are there any downsides or essential features that I might be missing out on with this monitor? This is my first time buying a new one, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I’d be cautious since there aren't many reviews out there on this model. Most reviews don’t go too deep into aspects like color accuracy, uniformity, and brightness. However, the previous model, the MAG274QRF-QD, did score well on Rtings, which is a good sign. Just keep in mind that if you’re after true HDR compatibility, I'd recommend looking for a panel with local dimming.
One thing to note is that it has a VA panel rather than an IPS one. Make sure to check reviews specifically for this monitor to see if there are any potential issues. Sometimes monitors can look great on paper but might not perform as expected when you actually use them.
