I'm planning to build my fifth PC using the 9800X3D along with the MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi. In my previous builds, I've always used thermal paste, but I'm considering switching it up this time. From what I've seen, Kryosheet may offer similar or even better temperatures and is easier to apply without the mess. However, I lack recent videos or tests to guide me. I'd love to hear from those who have experience with both methods or any research on the subject. What do you all think is the best way to go about this?

Honestly, thermal paste has been reliable for a long time. For the 9800X3D, which isn’t a hot running CPU, you shouldn’t have any problems with it. You might find that a tube of good thermal paste lasts you through several builds anyway, so there’s really no need to switch things up.

Exactly! Plus, a tube of paste is so much more versatile than a single Kryosheet.
