I'm having a major issue with my PC's disk performance. The read speed keeps fluctuating between 0 and 5 MB/s, and my SSD runs at 100% capacity about 75% of the time. I have a 2 terabyte SSD (though it's really around 1.85 TB and I've used about 985 GB). I built this PC around five months ago with decent parts, but I'm still a bit of a beginner with this stuff. I've tried updating to the latest version of Windows 11 and disabling SysMain, but none of that has helped. If anyone can assist or if you need more information from me, just let me know!

Since you mentioned it’s a SATA SSD, it could be the interface bottlenecking your read speeds. Check if the drive is in good health using tools like CrystalDiskInfo. It may also help to check if you're running any heavy background processes that could be hogging the disk.
First off, be careful with system BIOS changes as they can risk data loss. Always have backups before you tinker around. Also, do you have an NVMe or SATA SSD? If it’s NVMe, you might be experiencing QLC speed limits if you’ve used up the SLC cache.
