Why is my RAM frequency fluctuating after changing settings in BIOS?

I recently changed my RAM settings in the BIOS from auto (4800 MHz) to EXPO, specifically adjusting from 6400 MHz to 6000 MHz. However, I've noticed that the frequency seems to fluctuate a lot when I check it on CPU-Z. Does anyone have ideas about what could be causing this issue?

First off, make sure you have the most recent BIOS version installed on your motherboard. Sometimes, updates can improve RAM stability and might help handle your new settings better.

Good point! I haven't updated my BIOS yet, that might definitely be the root of the problem. Thanks for the tip!
