I'm looking to modernize my PC, which I built back in 2018 for light office work and some gaming. I need to upgrade my CPU since my current one doesn't support Windows 11, and I'm also considering adding more RAM to extend the life of my machine for a few more years. Here are my current specs:

I'm curious if there are any good CPU options that would work with my motherboard, particularly something like an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G. I've heard I might have to update the BIOS for this upgrade, and I'm unsure if that's a hassle worth dealing with. Also, would upgrading from 16GB to 32GB of RAM significantly improve my gaming experience in titles like FS2020, Hogwarts Legacy, and Counter Strike?

I'd recommend avoiding the G series CPUs since you have a dedicated GPU. A 5600X or 5800X could be great options for you. And yes, you'll need that BIOS update for sure.
