That's interesting! I've been tinkering with fixing "dead" parts and reselling the working ones. It takes ages and ends up costing me in tools, but I do earn a little if you break it down. It's more of a learning experience than a money-maker, though.
Honestly, it's pretty tough to profit from building PCs nowadays. Most people find it's just cheaper to buy pre-built systems than to build one themselves. Unless you've got some insane technical skills and can offer really unique customizations, it's a small niche market.
