Hey folks, I just picked up a 5070 Ti OC from PNY (no RGB) and I'm pairing it with a Ryzen 9 5950X and a Corsair RM650 Gold power supply. Is this power supply sufficient for my setup?

You’ll be okay, but ideally, a PSU in the 750-850W range is suggested for tighter safety margins.

While your setup might work, keep in mind that the general recommendation for a build like yours is around 750W. This accounts for all components at peak usage, especially during heavy loads.

You should be good to go! The 5070 Ti uses about 300 watts, and the 5950X has a stock power limit of around 142 watts. With your other components likely drawing an additional 50-100 watts, you're within what your RM650 can handle. Just remember that manufacturers suggest higher wattage to cover those running really high-end setups on older supplies.

Honestly, I think you'll run into issues with just 650W.

I recommend checking your total estimated wattage with a tool like PCPartPicker. As long as you leave a bit of headroom beyond that estimate, you should be alright.
