Hey everyone, I need some advice about an SSL warning I encountered on my iPhone. This happened while I was connected to my own home Wi-Fi, not a public network. The warning appeared while using ChatGPT and indicated a potential network configuration issue, pointing out that "root.home" was associated with an incorrect SSL certificate. It raised a concern about possible tampering with my device or network, suggesting I try another Wi-Fi network or reach out to an IT admin for assistance. Here are a few important details: it occurred only once, exclusively on Wi-Fi (not mobile data), and I'm on my home network. I don't have any VPNs or device profiles installed, and everything seems to work normally on apps like Safari, the App Store, and banking apps. I also checked, and my router doesn't seem to support TLS/HTTPS inspection. I got my iPhone a few months ago from my boyfriend, but I factory reset it before using it, and I'm the only one using it with my SIM card. I haven't seen the warning again since it happened, but I want to understand if it was merely a false positive or if I should investigate further. Any insights?

It’s definitely worth doing some digging, even if it was just a glitch. Check the SSL certificates on your phone to see if anything seems suspicious or off. It can help you rule out any issues. If you need guidance on how to do that, let me know!
Also, do you have any parental controls set up on your home network or DNS filtering? Sometimes those kinds of settings can trigger SSL warnings.
Nope, I don't have any parental controls or anything like that.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. Where can I check those certificates just to be sure? I'm not really tech-savvy.
