Should I Upgrade from an 8700G to a 7800X3D with a 9070XT?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded to a 9070XT on my PC with an 8700G and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and now I'm having second thoughts about my CPU choice. I'm currently gaming at 3440x1440p, especially on Arc Raiders, and was considering upgrading to a 7800X3D for better performance. Was this a mistake?
