Help! My HDMI Adapter Isn’t Working with My iPad Pro

I recently bought an 11-inch iPad Pro with an M4 chip during the summer, and I'm having trouble with my HDMI USB-C adapter. I initially used a third-party adapter that worked for a while but then stopped. I decided to purchase an official Apple adapter, but the problem persists. When I plug in the adapter, the icon appears in the top right for a few seconds and then disappears. Audio is transferred, but I can't get any video. I tested the HDMI cable on my iPhone 15 Pro and it works perfectly, so I'm confident it's not the cable. I really need help because I rely on my iPad for university work, and my entire desk setup is built around it.

It sounds like there might be some dirt or debris in the USB-C port on your iPad. I’d recommend cleaning that out carefully to see if it resolves the connection issue. Sometimes it can block the pins needed for a reliable connection.

I tried cleaning the port, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. I’m starting to think the issue is with my iPad itself.
