Hi everyone! I'm in a bit of a bind—my iPhone 14 Plus has run out of storage, and I really don't want to delete any of my pictures. I'm looking to buy a portable hard drive to transfer those photos so I can keep my phone storage free. Can you all recommend a good quality hard drive and let me know what kind of cable I'll need to connect it to my phone? Sorry if this sounds silly; I'm not very tech-savvy!

Have you considered using iCloud? If that’s not your thing and you want something portable, I recommend going for an external SSD. They’re lighter and more durable compared to traditional hard drives. Just make sure to grab an Apple Lightning to USB-C adapter to connect it to your iPhone. By the way, what's your budget for the drive and how much storage do you need?
Thanks a lot for your helpful comment! I don’t wanna use iCloud for storage. My main goal is to securely move these photos. I’m looking for 128GB of storage and I'm ordering from India. No specific budget, but I’d love some suggestions on good brands.
