I'm trying to put together a budget gaming PC for my son with a budget under $1,000. I missed a recent $300 deal on the 7500X3D at Microcenter, and I'm finding it hard to locate that processor elsewhere. I've come across a combo deal that includes the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, an MSI B850 Gaming Pro WiFi motherboard, and 16GB of DDR5 RAM. I've seen prices drop before, and this combo has been cheaper in the past or even included 32GB of RAM. Knowing that prices are generally high right now, I'm wondering if this is a good deal to snag now or if I should continue waiting for something better. By the way, I'm planning to pair this with an RX 9060 XT 16GB GPU.

Honestly, that combo deal seems pretty good. Prices keep climbing, so I wouldn't expect to see it cheaper anytime soon.
Have you thought about getting the 7600X3D for $429 instead?
Wow, that's a fantastic find! Definitely seems like a good deal with current market trends.
You can actually swap the 16GB RAM for 32GB and still keep the same discount. Given the current prices, I think it's a solid deal!
Great. Thank you!
I did the math, and it ends up being the same price as the 7700X deal; is it still worth it?

That is my question. Is this a good deal, or should I hold out for a better one or hope the 7500X3D comes back?
