How Can I Approve App Installations on My Kid’s iPad Without Having an Apple Device?

I'm trying to get my child set up with an iPad for school, and I created their account as a kids account while enabling family sharing with my own account. However, the problem is that I don't own any Apple devices except for an old iPod classic. When my kid tries to install necessary apps, it prompts her to ask for my approval, but I don't receive any email notifications, and I can't find any option in the web interface to approve these requests. How can I install these apps without having an Apple device?

You actually can't manage your child's account without owning at least one up-to-date Apple device. If you're not planning to get any Apple products, it might be tricky for you to approve anything for their iPad.

To approve app requests, you need to have an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch. Unfortunately, with just an iPod classic, you won't be able to approve those requests. It's a bit frustrating, but that's how Apple's system works.
