I've been having issues with my Magic Mouse 2 randomly shutting off. I'm using it with a 2017 iMac 21.5 that runs Ventura. This problem started a few weeks back, and after reinstalling the OS today, the issue persists. I tried using a different mouse for a while, then got the Magic Mouse out of storage. It's fully charged and doesn't show any connection issues. Just to update, I now have Sequoia installed with OCLP, and while it says my mouse is connected wirelessly, I can't find it in the list of connected devices, and it's unresponsive. Rebooting doesn't help either.

You might want to check if there's any debris or dirt around the sensor or the charging port. Sometimes a good clean can help improve connectivity. Also, try resetting the Bluetooth settings on your iMac; that can solve a lot of weird issues.
It sounds like your mouse might have been sitting in storage for a while. If it was unused for more than six months, that could affect its performance. Sometimes, Bluetooth devices can lose their firmware or have connection stability issues after long periods of inactivity.
