I'm in a bind here! I forgot my Windows password and tried to bypass the BitLocker lock using disk part from my bootable device. Unfortunately, I'm getting a message that my hard disk is locked by BitLocker, and I can't seem to remember the password. I'm really worried about losing my files and don't want to format the drive. Does anyone have a solution or any advice on what I can do?

You can't bypass BitLocker that easily—its whole purpose is to protect your data from unauthorized access. If you have another device, try logging into your Microsoft account there and see if you can retrieve your BitLocker recovery key.
I mean, it is technically possible to extract the master key, but if you're asking how to do it, it's probably not something you should attempt.
Unfortunately, there's no way to bypass BitLocker without the recovery keys linked to your Microsoft account. Since we can't verify ownership of your device, we can't help you bypass those security protocols. If you can't access your Microsoft account, you might be out of luck. It’s a tough spot to be in.
So, without the Microsoft account, I can't access it at all?
Extracting the master key is possible, but it's probably beyond the average user's skill set.
Thanks for the info!
