Why is it so tough to build a PC?

I've just spent four frustrating hours trying to piece together my first PC build. I've read tons of tutorials and manuals - about 100, no joke! - but all I've managed to do is install the motherboard and RAM. I haven't connected any cables, the power supply, GPU, or the CPU cooler yet. I'm starting to feel like I'm just not cut out for this. Is it normal to feel overwhelmed like this? Should I consider returning all my parts?

Honestly, I think the trick is just to take it slow. Building your first PC isn’t a walk in the park and can involve a lot of trial and error. Make sure to really check the manuals for your components! A lot of people make mistakes with wiring, so breathe and remember that it's okay to take your time to avoid future headaches. Also, following just one tutorial relevant to your components can really help.

Building a PC can be tricky, but don't be too hard on yourself! It definitely takes time to learn the ropes. For some, it feels like a skill issue, but remember that learning anything new can be overwhelming at first. Give yourself a break and perhaps try fewer tutorials. Just focus on one decent video and follow it step by step; the more you learn, the easier it will get!

You're definitely not an idiot for finding this hard; it's a new skill! A tip from me is to have all the components laid out and take stock of what goes where according to the motherboard manual. My first build took ages too! Focus on understanding one section at a time instead of overwhelming yourself with tons of info.

It's totally understandable to feel lost; it's a lot to take in! Building a PC is way easier than it might seem, but if you're stressed, it can feel like a mountain of confusion. Consider slowing down and maybe even take breaks while you work on it. Concentrate on one task at a time and don't rush; it's not a race!
