My PC Connects to WiFi but Not the Internet, What Should I Do?

I'm having trouble with my PC connecting to the internet. It connects to the WiFi just fine, but it can't access the internet. All my other devices work properly, so it seems to be an issue specific to my PC. I wondered if it might be related to a VPN since I received a message about a DNS server not responding. However, I've completely disabled my VPN, so I'm not sure what's causing the problem. Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks for the tips! I haven't done much troubleshooting, but I do know how to reboot my router. I’ve got a WiFi booster pretty close to my PC. As for a cold start, does that mean turning the PC off and then back on? I'm using Windows 11 and have a WiFi 6 connection. The error message I got was that 'the DNS server couldn’t process the DNS request.' What does that mean?

It sounds like you're experiencing a classic DNS issue. First, can you run "ipconfig /all" in your command prompt? It’ll give us more info about your network settings. Also, make sure to reboot your router if you haven't already. Sometimes a cold start on your PC can help too, meaning just shutting it down completely instead of using hibernate. If you still have issues, let us know the specific error message you're getting! That can help us pinpoint the problem.
