I'm using a stock cooler with my Ryzen 5 5600X and noticed I hit 60 degrees Celsius when idle and 95 degrees while gaming on CS2. I'm considering upgrading to the ThermalRight Peerless Assassin 120SE. Would this cooler be a good fit for my setup?

I think something's off if you're getting such high temps with the stock cooler; it shouldn’t struggle that much with a 5600X. Just make sure it’s installed correctly and that the thermal paste is applied properly. The Peerless Assassin should definitely help you avoid any throttling issues.

Absolutely, the ThermalRight Peerless Assassin 120SE should work perfectly for your Ryzen 5 5600X. It's a solid cooler and should keep your temps in check much better than the stock one.

Honestly, a 120mm cooler like that is a great choice. If you're hitting high temps with your stock cooler, it might be worth checking your case airflow as well. But the Peerless Assassin will do an excellent job of cooling for your CPU.

In my experience, that cooler is overkill for a 5600X. I had a high-end processor before switching to an AIO and found it kept the temps very manageable under heavy loads. You should be just fine!

Yes, that cooler is definitely going to be more than enough! I've used it with a less powerful CPU, and it kept things nice and cool. You shouldn't have any issues at all.
