Help! My Dell Laptop Keeps Showing a BitLocker Screen and Can’t Be Repaired

I've been dealing with an annoying issue on my Dell laptop using Windows 11. It starts with minor glitches like my AirPods losing sound while still connected, the brightness buttons stopping working, and being unable to access the start menu. When I restart, it takes longer than usual and brings up the BitLocker password screen. After entering the correct password, it claims "Your device has run into a problem and cannot be repaired" but lets me continue to restart. Once it boots back up, everything seems fine until the glitches return. This situation occurs a couple of times a month only after those initial issues arise. I'm looking for advice or ideas on how to solve this!

Sounds like your SSD might be failing. Make sure to back up your data right away. You can use tools like CrystalDiskInfo or HWInfo to check the drive's SMART status for any errors or remaining life. If you notice it performing poorly compared to its normal specifications, that’s a red flag. While it’s hard to troubleshoot laptops since you can't easily swap components, checking the drive first is a good step.

If the problems keep happening, it might be worth backing up everything and reinstalling Windows. If the issue still occurs after that, it’s likely a hardware problem. While you can troubleshoot with repairs, a fresh install can often save you some time and hassle.

Have you tried running Dell's diagnostics software? That could pinpoint any issues. Also, ensure that both your BIOS and device drivers are up to date. Keeping your Windows 11 updated with the latest patches is essential too.
