I have a USB RAID that was formatted using ReFS in Windows Server 2022. When one of the disks failed, I managed to resync the data after connecting it to my Windows 11 24H2 machine. The RAID is fully accessible now. However, I'm facing issues since Windows Server 2022 can no longer recognize it. The ReFS version on the RAID is shown as 3.14, which makes sense since it's recognized in Windows 11 24H2. I'm wondering what options I have to restore compatibility with Server 2022 without having to reformat the drive. Is there any way to update ReFS support on Server 2022?

You’re right about the version issue. Server 2022 doesn’t support ReFS v3.14, which is likely why you're facing these problems. It’s a bummer, but you're either looking at a backup and reformat or going for a server upgrade. There's no direct update path for the ReFS version in your current setup.
Your best bet might be to back up your data, then reformat the RAID to a version that Server 2022 fully supports. Alternatively, you could consider upgrading to Server 2025, which should have better compatibility. Unfortunately, I don’t think there's a way to just update ReFS support on your current Server 2022 setup.
