How can I connect another monitor when my graphics card is maxed out?

I have an RTX 5070 graphics card in my rig, and it's handling my 4K240Hz display, 4K144Hz TV, and another 4K120Hz monitor just fine. However, when I try to add a 1080p 60Hz monitor, all my other screens go black until I disconnect it. I'm running the Fedora 43 KDE Plasma version and keeping everything updated with the latest Nvidia drivers. According to Nvidia's specs, this card supports up to 4 independent displays at 4K 165Hz, but I think I'm hitting a bandwidth limit here. My motherboard is the B550 A Pro and the CPU is a 5600x, but I don't have any spare PCIe slots left. Is there a reliable way to hook up this extra 1080p display without causing issues for the other ones? I'm okay with minor latency as I just need it for apps like Discord or Slack. I've looked into USB to HDMI adapters but I'm unsure which ones are effective.

Have you checked what's occupying your other PCIe slots? If they're not in use, finding a cheap display adapter GPU could be a straightforward fix.

You can use any USB to HDMI or DisplayPort adapter; they leverage USB bandwidth instead of the card's bandwidth, so they're a decent option!

One solution is to add a second video card if you have the budget for it. This would give you more display outputs without affecting your current setup.

Honestly, adding another monitor may force you to lower the refresh rate on a few of your existing screens. An interesting workaround would be to connect that 1080p monitor to a streaming stick and cast from your phone or tablet, or use third-party apps to wirelessly turn a tablet into an extra monitor.

Consider a USB-C to HDMI Video Adapter; they can be pretty effective. There are several options available. Just make sure to get one that suits your needs.
