Should I Choose the 9070 XT or the 5070 Ti for My New PC Build?

I'm in the process of building a new computer, and I'm facing a decision between two graphics cards: the 9070 XT and the 5070 Ti. The big kicker is that the 9070 XT is priced $284 lower than the 5070 Ti where I live. I've seen some impressive performance figures for the 5070 Ti, particularly with frame generation and DLSS, hitting around 300 fps in games like The Last of Us at 1440p. However, I'm curious if the 9070 XT can keep up in terms of raw performance. Given the price difference, what would you recommend I choose?

If you're gaming at 1440p and budget is a concern, the 9070 XT is a solid choice. Unless you're really invested in the Nvidia features, the savings can go towards upgrading other components. Frame generation can be hit or miss, and there's nothing wrong with saving a chunk of cash.

Exactly! 300 bucks can do wonders for your overall build. Think about it—new RAM or a cooler would likely have a more noticeable impact.

At that price difference, I’d suggest the 9070 XT too. If the price were only $50-100 more for the 5070 Ti, then maybe it’d be worth it for the extra features like DLSS. But with that kind of savings, the 9070 XT is a powerhouse in its own right!

Both cards have similar performance with slight differences depending on the game. Nvidia does have better features like DLSS, but honestly, I don't think spending an extra $300 is worth it. You could invest that money into other parts of your build, like a better CPU or motherboard, which could enhance your gaming experience more than going with the 5070 Ti.

Considering the price gap, I would definitely go for the 9070 XT. Performance is very comparable to the 5070 Ti, and while DLSS is better on Nvidia cards, I don't think it's worth an extra $284. Just get the 9070 XT.
