Why are my USB devices only functioning at USB 2 speeds on my Asrock x870e Taichi Lite?

I'm having an issue with my Asrock x870e Taichi Lite motherboard paired with a Ryzen 9 9950x. I have USB drives that perform at full USB 3.1 speeds on other computers, but they only reach about 44MB/s on mine. I've updated to the latest BIOS, disconnected other USB devices, and ensured Windows 11 is fully updated. I've also tested multiple USB-C ports on the motherboard. Is there anything else I can do to resolve this?

It sounds like a firmware issue. Make sure you download and install the latest firmware for your motherboard from the official site and check if there's a newer BIOS update available as well.

Thanks! Just to clarify, is firmware different from the BIOS itself? I've already updated to the latest BIOS.
