I've been using a Mac for a long time, but I'm switching to a PC. I have a lot of .pages and .key files that I need to convert to .docx format. I've seen recommendations for using cloudconvert.com, but the downside is that I have to manually move each converted file back to its original folder. Is there a more efficient way to batch convert these files? I'm open to paying for third-party software if it's worth it. I also found a post about using an Automator script, but I'm not sure how to set that up. Any help would be appreciated!

Lately, I’ve been using AI for tasks like this. You could ask an AI model to help you write a script for bulk conversion. It can save you a lot of time!
Check out LibreOffice! It allows batch processing and you can just point it to the folder with your .pages files. Plus, it's free and open-source, which is a bonus! 😊
+1 for LibreOffice! I’ve used it for similar tasks and it’s worked great.
Isn’t this something that Pages can do on its own?
Just to clarify, they want to batch convert files. I don’t think Pages has that feature built-in.
I wouldn't trust online tools for this, honestly. I'd suggest posting in a dedicated Mac/Apple community. They might help you with that Automator script, which can automate everything for you!

Thanks for the tip! I actually had ChatGPT generate a script right after I posted. I haven’t tested it yet but will let you know how it goes!
