I'm working on building a couch gaming setup and I'm looking for a suitable Linux distribution to use. I want to avoid Windows if possible, but I'm not really sure which Linux distros are good for gaming from the couch. Any recommendations?

I’ve had success with Bazzite for couch gaming, although it does have the occasional bug where it logs you out of Steam. Overall, it’s pretty solid for gaming if you don’t mind the quirks!

I've heard that too. Maybe it'll get better with future updates!

If you’re planning to use Steam's Big Picture Mode, you have a lot of options! Almost any distro should work fine. For ease of use with proprietary drivers, Linux Mint is user-friendly. But if you're using AMD or Intel graphics, just go for a recent kernel distro like Fedora.

Thanks for the tip! I'll check out Mint, it sounds like a good option.

SteamOS is a solid choice! It’s designed specifically for gaming on Linux and works great if you’re looking to create your own Steam machine. Just make sure your hardware is compatible, especially if you’re using AMD.
