I'm currently using Sky broadband, and it's been a nightmare for online gaming. Every match on Black Ops 7 feels like a gamble—I'd say there's a 50% chance that the experience will be unplayable. I've tried using a wired connection, but it hasn't made a difference. When I contacted Sky about the issues, they claimed my internet speeds were great and couldn't understand the problems I'm facing. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with Sky? Did switching to a different broadband provider help resolve your gaming problems?

Have you checked your ping times? They can be more crucial for gaming than just looking at your bandwidth. High ping can really affect your gameplay experience.
I switched to Community Fibre, and it's been a game-changer! I haven't experienced any lag since I made the switch. Just be sure to get the package with the range extenders, though; otherwise, the signal can be pretty weak.
Too many devices connected to your network can definitely slow down your gaming. If you're sharing your bandwidth, that could be part of the issue.
A ping of 40ms on WiFi is pretty common for Call of Duty servers. If you're experiencing lag, it might be worth checking if the issue is server-side.
If you're gaming on an Xbox Series X, I really recommend using an ethernet cable instead of WiFi. I've had consistent online gaming experiences with mine daily—just avoid WiFi if possible.

My ping averages around 20ms, with lows of 12ms and highs up to 40ms. What do you think?
