I'm currently set up with an R7 5800X, 32GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, an RX 9070 XT GPU, a Gold 750W PSU, and an LG 1080p 144Hz monitor. I'm aiming for the best gaming experience with Forza Horizon 6, Battlefield 6, and Wuthering Waves at 1440p resolution. I'm considering two upgrade options: 1) going for an R9 5900XT, or 2) switching to Intel with an i5-14600KF or an i7-14700KF and a new motherboard. Both options seem cheaper than jumping to an AM5 setup. What do you think?

I actually moved from a 5700X setup to a 14700K DDR4 build. If you go the Intel route, I can share some tips since motherboard choice is critical. The 14700K is solid but can consume a lot more power than the Ryzen. If you can pick up a 5800X3D or 5700X3D for a reasonable price, that’d definitely enhance your gaming without the hassle of changing platforms.
You might want to stick with what you have for now. Have you enabled Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) and done a curve optimization (CO)? Also, it could be smart to wait until Forza Horizon 6 releases to see how your current setup performs. The R9 5900XT probably won't provide much benefit since it has similar clocks but dual CCDs, which might not help for your games.
PBO and CO? What do those mean?
Honestly, you probably don’t need an upgrade at all. Just tweaking your BIOS settings and optimizing the in-game graphics should suffice. Your RX 9070 XT is already great for 1440p gaming. The only significant upgrade might be to the Ryzen 5800X3D, but that one’s super pricey right now.
Unfortunately, I can't find a 5800X3D or 5700X3D where I live.

That’s a bummer; I also can't find those CPUs in my region.
