My PC Won’t Turn On: Strange Smell and Flickering Lights

I was using my PC without any issues, but after a short break, it refuses to turn on. The first time I tried to power it up, I noticed a weird smell coming from the machine. Pressing the power button only activates the fans for a moment before everything shuts off again, and the LED indicator doesn't respond at all. However, a small light on the GPU is still on, and my keyboard lights up as usual.

I've tried turning off the power supply and switching to a different outlet, but nothing changed. I managed to get the fans running by holding down the power button for a long time, but they are quite loud now. The lights are flickering, but there's still no display on my monitor. I'd appreciate any help with this issue!

It sounds like your power supply could be having issues. The strange smell can sometimes indicate a failing PSU. If you have another power supply you can try, that might help rule it out. Also, make sure all cables are connected properly.

Have you checked if your PC has an integrated GPU? If it does, try removing the dedicated GPU and see if the system runs on the integrated graphics. If it works fine, then the issue might be with your GPU. If not, there's likely something else going on with the system.
