I'm looking to modernize my backup storage setup as my current big HDD servers are reaching their limits. I need a solution that can handle about 200TB of usable space, specifically for Veeam and native SQL backups. What are the current options for a 200-300TB flash backup appliance? Any recommendations?

Flash storage might be overkill for backups in most cases. We're using Rubrik, and while it does come with a hefty price tag, it's still cheaper than what we previously spent on Commvault. Each of our 2U appliances provides around 124TB usable storage and achieves about a 60% deduplication rate, effectively giving us close to 200TB usable. Just keep in mind that performance can vary based on your setup!

Disk contention can definitely be a bottleneck in backup tasks. For some setups, going with flash really can make a difference.
