I'm planning to upgrade my GPU and CPU on a budget. I'm hoping to spend around $500 for a GPU and $200-$300 for a CPU. Currently, I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 for my GPU and an AMD Ryzen 3 3100 CPU. My motherboard is a TUF GAMING B550-PLUS and I have 16 GB of RAM. Any advice on what components I should consider?

For the CPU, I'd go with the Ryzen 5700X and a 9060 XT for the GPU. Your motherboard is good to go with that chipset for 5000 series chips, so you’re in good shape! Just grab something with 'X' or 'XT' at the end for best performance.

Your TUF GAMING B550-PLUS is solid and should support the 5000 series without issues. Aim for the 5800X as a top choice for the CPU and definitely the 9060 XT for graphics. Just double-check for the correct variants though!

You should definitely consider getting a Ryzen 5700X or 5800X for your CPU. As for the GPU, a 9060 XT would fit your budget nicely, just make sure to pick the 'XT' version. Also, you might need to check your power supply; what kind do you have?
