HP Laptop Keys Not Working – Any Fixes?

I'm having some trouble with my HP laptop keyboard – the 's', 'a', 'd', and '4' keys aren't responding. I suspect it might be a software issue since they temporarily work after a restart, but then stop again. In the past, I could get them to work by pressing them for a bit, but that no longer helps. Does anyone know what might be going on or how I can resolve this?

Have you checked for any obvious signs of damage or debris under the keys? Sometimes cleaning underneath can help if something is blocking the connection. If the problem persists after cleaning, it might be worth trying a full system restore to a point where the keyboard worked properly.

It sounds frustrating! First, try updating your keyboard drivers; outdated drivers can cause issues like this. You can also check for any sticky keys settings in the accessibility options. If nothing works, consider running a system check or even checking the keyboard connections if you're comfortable doing that.
