I'm putting together a PC for a friend, and since my own rig has a 4080 Super that runs incredibly well for all kinds of tasks, I'm hoping to find a similar graphics card for their build. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any new 4080 Super cards for sale, and I'm hesitant about buying used parts. What are some good alternatives I can buy new today?

As everyone else mentioned, your best picks are the 9070 XT, 5070 Ti, or 5080. With the upcoming price hikes on AMD cards, I’d grab the 9070 XT sooner rather than later. If a good deal on a 5070 Ti pops up, I'd jump on that too, but I'd avoid the 5080 for now since it doesn't offer the best value for performance.

The RTX 5070 Ti is your best bet! If you're not too concerned about having the latest Nvidia features, the 9070 XT is also a solid, more affordable alternative.

Honestly, you might be a bit late to the game. I saw a good deal just a day ago, but it slipped through my fingers. Definitely check recent sales!

Definitely go for the RTX 5070 Ti. I snagged one last month for about $800, but keep an eye on those prices—they've shot up since then!

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Prices can really fluctuate! It's hard to find good deals nowadays.

In terms of closest options, you’ll want to check out the 5070 Ti, 5080, and the 9070 XT. Given how steep Nvidia's prices are, the 9070 XT might be a more worthwhile choice right now.
