Looking for Reliable O365 Backup Solutions

I'm using Cove for O365 backup to protect our Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint data, but it's been a nightmare. After facing numerous issues over the past year, my MSP even refunded our full subscription cost because what should've been a three-week implementation turned into an 11-month ordeal. The backups take forever, support is almost non-existent, and to restore anything, you must have a Global Admin account instead of just an Exchange/SharePoint/OneDrive admin. With my contract renewal in nine months, I'm looking for a better solution that fits in the $3-$4 USD per user per month budget. Any recommendations on backups that you've had a good experience with?

I've heard pretty good things about Afi.ai. Many users say it's one of the most comprehensive solutions out there.

I use Synology with their O365 backup software. It's pretty reliable since the hardware is a one-time purchase and the software upgrades are free. Support is limited but I rarely need it, so it works out well for me.

Give Veeam a shot! It's budget-friendly per user and doesn't have storage limits, making it a solid choice.

I've had a good experience with CubeBackup. It was really easy to set up, and while there's a yearly cost, it’s worth it for the smooth operation.

My organization uses Rubrik for O365 backup, and it's been great. We back up everything twice a day, and the initial setup took some time, but now the backups are super fast, often under three minutes per user. Just a heads up, it's on the pricier side, but they do offer bundles that might fit your budget.
