Help! Dealing with a Blue Screen Error on Windows

This morning, I encountered a blue screen with the message "Windows Couldn't Load Correctly". I chose the repair option, but it just led me back to the same screen asking if I wanted to restart. After manually restarting my computer, Windows booted up without any issue. I'm looking for advice on how to check what went wrong and how to prevent this from happening again.

Sometimes these blue screens happen due to a problematic Windows update, and it might just fix itself. However, if you're still concerned, I'd recommend running checks on your disk and RAM. If all else fails, just keep an eye on your system and see if it happens again.

Thanks! How do I perform those disk and RAM checks? I was also looking into running the System File Checker tool to fix any corrupted files.

To get to the bottom of your blue screen issue, check for dump files, which are crash logs from BSODs. If you can access Windows normally or via Safe Mode, navigate to C:WindowsMinidump to see if you have any dump files there. If you find them, zip the folder and upload it to a file-sharing site like mediafire.com. It's best to have multiple files, so even if you only have one, you can change your dump settings to create small memory dumps moving forward. Here’s a guide to help you with that: [Create Minidump Tutorial](https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5560-configure-windows-10-create-minidump-bsod.html)

I found a file named DumpStack.log in C:, but after I deleted it and restored it, the name changed. I checked the system settings, and it seems set up for small memory dumps, but I didn’t see the Minidump folder.
