Is it Possible to Remap Keyboard Keys on Linux?

I'm new to Linux and having some trouble remapping my keyboard keys. I want to change a few numpad keys to special characters that aren't easily accessible on my regional keyboard. Additionally, I would like to have the Ctrl+Alt combination function as AltGr like it does in Windows. I attempted to use a tool called keyd, but it didn't work out for me. I'm using Fedora with KDE and Wayland, and I'm quite stuck on this basic issue. Any advice would be appreciated!

First, check if your keyboard has the AltGr key. If it does, changing the keyboard layout to match it could solve your problem. Also, knowing which desktop environment you're using (like KDE or GNOME) is crucial, as some have built-in options in their settings for remapping keys.

I do have the AltGr, but I'm not used to using it. I really want to stick to what I've trained my fingers to do. Since I'm using KDE on Fedora with Wayland, I've checked the remapping options but they only seem to let me create shortcuts for applications, not key remapping.
