Help! My PC Boots Up but the Monitor Shows ‘No Signal’

I'm having trouble with my PC; when I power it on, my monitor initially displays 'Gigabyte Ultra' at a higher resolution but then switches to 'No Signal' and goes into power-saving mode. My Bluetooth detects the monitor, so it seems to be working, but I once managed to reach a blue screen with options to continue to Windows or reset my PC. When I clicked 'continue,' it went black again. Up until now, the computer was running just fine without any issues like random shutdowns or glitches. I've been using it about 10-13 hours daily, with occasional breaks where I put it to sleep. I opened it up and saw that everything—like fans and cards—looks clean, and it's well-ventilated. I don't recall making any recent updates to Windows or drivers. I even tried unplugging everything, but nothing changed. I'd update the drivers if I could get past this black screen, but I'm stuck. Any advice?

It sounds like you might need to perform a CMOS reset to eliminate any BIOS issues. Just unplug your PC, hold down the power button for about 30 seconds, then remove the coin battery on the motherboard for five minutes before reinserting it. After that, give it another boot. If that doesn’t work, you could be facing a software issue since you mentioned the boot menu options.

That sounds like a solid plan! I’ll give that a try and see what happens. Thanks!

First, check if your monitor is connected properly. Sometimes it’s just a matter of using the right port or cable. Make sure you aren’t plugged into the motherboard output instead of the graphics card. If you see a BIOS splash screen before Windows, that's a good sign your setup is working. If not, you might want to try a different cable or port type as well. Sometimes switching from HDMI to DisplayPort (or vice versa) can fix the issue.

I’ll try switching up the cables and see if that helps! Thanks for the tip!
