Troubleshooting Boot Issues with a New Motherboard

I'm having trouble booting my new MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk motherboard. When I first powered it on, I accessed the BIOS, which seemed promising. However, after that, the DRAM debug light stayed on for about 30-45 minutes, and the fans were spinning wildly, but nothing appeared on my monitors. After a restart, the CPU indicator lit up as well, and the fan speeds returned to normal.

Here's what I've attempted so far: I've swapped the RAM around, re-seated the CPU (which allowed me to access the BIOS again), and I'm currently flashing the BIOS, but it reverted me back to the same issue.

In the BIOS, everything appears to be recognized — the RAM, CPU, and fans all show up fine. I'm wondering if any of you have suggestions on what to try next. I've been giving it a 20-minute wait in between steps just in case it's something with memory training.

You might need to manually adjust clock settings. How many RAM sticks do you have, and have you tried booting with just one stick? If you're using multiple, try it with a single one.

I'm testing out a single stick right now, but it's yielding the same results as earlier. I have Kingston Fury Renegade 32GB (2x16) RGB, and it worked fine yesterday.

Have you tried using a single RAM stick in different slots? It sometimes helps narrow down if the issue is with the RAM or the slots themselves.

I actually started doing that but got a bit frustrated. Good call though, I'll give it another shot and see what happens.

It might be worth checking for a BIOS update. Sometimes a fresh update can resolve these odd boot issues. It's a simple step, and it could help.

I'm currently updating the BIOS, but it just put me back to the CPU red light and DRAM orange light again.

Just to share, I used a B650M-h AsRock before this, and my CPU is a Ryzen 7 9700X. Sometimes compatibility can be funky, so just double-check that stuff too.
