I recently upgraded my CPU from an i3 4160 to an i5 4590, but now my PC is unresponsive – no images or display at all. The power supply and case fans power on, but I can't seem to get any output. I've checked all the cables and reseated the RAM, and I believe I installed the CPU cooler correctly with thermal paste. There's a blue halo around the power button, which is new since the swap, and the CPU fans are spinning normally. I also tried changing the RAM channel. Is it possible that the new CPU could be faulty? I didn't switch back to my old CPU yet because I don't want to waste the thermal paste, but if I can't resolve this, swapping back might be my last option. What should I do?

You might want to check if your motherboard supports the new CPU. Sometimes, BIOS compatibility can be an issue, especially with older boards. If you haven't updated the BIOS, that could be a reason why it's not working.
How do I check for BIOS updates? I’m not very experienced with that.
