Help Unlocking My Broken Phone Without Losing Data

Hey everyone! I really need some help here. My old Samsung A12 fell and half of the screen is no longer working. I've recently got a new phone and I'm trying to transfer data from the broken one, but I can't unlock it. It keeps asking for my password, which is "doge", but I can't access the part of the screen that's not working. I've been using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to navigate, but it's a hassle. I tried turning on Bluetooth from the lock screen, but it doesn't let me without entering the password first. Is there any way to unlock my phone without losing my data? I can't upload photos here, but I can share a picture of the broken screen if needed. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried plugging in a wired keyboard? You might need a USB-A to USB-C adapter, but it typically should work just fine. That way, you can type in your password directly and unlock the device without any issues.

Honestly, if you’re able to get the screen fixed, that would be the easiest route. Otherwise, it might be tough to bypass the password legally. Plus, have you considered using an OTG adapter? Sometimes they can help connect devices when you're in a pinch.

I get where you’re coming from! If all else fails, you could take it to a professional to get the screen repaired. Once that's done, you'll be able to access everything without worrying about data loss.
