Looking for Affordable DDR5-6000 RAM Options

I'm in the process of building my first gaming PC featuring a 7800X3D (going a bit overboard on purpose) and a 5070 GPU. I've already chosen most of my components, but I'm still on the hunt for a good RAM kit. I'm interested in DDR5 at 6000MHz, ideally with a CAS latency of 30, but I'm finding the prices a bit shocking. I was considering the Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB kit, but I'm not too familiar with the brand. So, I'm looking for some budget-friendly suggestions that won't break the bank, especially since I've already got a $550 Corsair Vengeance kit in my cart. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance! (Just a heads up, the robbery comment was a joke!)

The difference between CL36 and CL30 isn’t that significant, especially with an X3D CPU. From my experience, a CL36 kit should work just fine. If you need to save some cash, consider going with non-RGB options; they'll usually cost less.

If you have a local marketplace, check it out! I got a 16GBx2 6000 CL30 for $200 last week, which is a decent price these days. Sometimes you can find better deals than retail prices if you're patient.

Have you tried looking at Microcenter? They have some great bundles right now, especially with X3D builds. It might be worth the drive!

I bought the Viper Venom CL30 6000 32GB kit last year for $75, but I’d say if you can get it under $250 now, go for it! Otherwise, keep an eye on eBay for good deals; they pop up every now and then.

The RAM market is wild right now. I checked and that kit is about $390 before taxes—way too much if you ask me.

The Viper Venom seems solid, especially since prices have gone up. Corsair's good for reliability and support, but if you find the Patriot kit significantly cheaper, it could be the better option. Also, consider brands like G.Skill and Kingston Fury—they're reputable and often competitively priced.

Finding a good CL30 kit at a reasonable price might be tough right now. I suggest looking for a 32GB kit with CL36 instead; that's the best value I've seen lately. You can filter options on PCPartPicker to find what fits your needs.

I saw the Crucial Pro OC at CL36 listed as a good option. I'm leaning towards a CL30 RAM for future-proofing, but do you think the performance difference is worth it?
