Is it okay to use a pigtail with my new 5070 Ti graphics card?

I recently bought a 5070 Ti graphics card, and it came with a 12-Pin to 3x PCIe 6+2 adapter. The instructions advise against using pigtail cables and recommend connecting three separate cables directly to the PSU. I have room for three cables on my PSU, but I currently only have two available. I'm wondering if I can use two cables and then use one as a pigtail? How risky is this option? I've seen mixed opinions online about it. Thanks!

You might want to consider getting a better PSU, as the MSI A650GL might not provide enough wattage for the 5070 Ti. It's essential to have sufficient power to avoid any potential issues down the line.

I checked, and my whole setup is estimated to run around 500W, so I think the PSU should be adequate. I also didn’t spot any compatibility issues when I looked it up.
